merdeka! pertahankan sepenuhnya malaysia.

assalamualaikum and hi!

this is a mini throwback entry of our merdeka celebration, this year.
can't believe it's already been 61 years of malaysia's independence :)

with em. the kids.

merdeka to me is wayy beyond freed from the colonization and domination.
merdeka means respect, prosper, bliss, sophisticated and of course, having a first-class mindset.
we are merdeka if we're not littering just everywhere.
we are merdeka if we are free from being spiteful, or free from hatred.
we are merdeka if we're helping those in need (even though we don't know them).
we are merdeka if we know how to manage our finance and time, well. both are dimes; literally and figuratively.
we are merdeka if we have a high civics and moral values.

young generations should be taught the real spirit of merdeka.
history may be the past,
but history is the one that shapes who we are today.

merdeka celebration at the kids' nursery. babah also came for the support.

merdeka for young parents like us; being able to morally support our kids in every way possible that we can.
even you may think that an event at your kids' school is just a small scoop of their world.
even you may think your meetings are more important than your kids' appearance in a school's play, or such.
you may not be right.
your kids will grow up and one day you'll regret all the days that you just missed.

the cakes that being presented on that day. *mata bercahaya* :D

so. kembali kepada perayaan merdeka kita. haha
baru-baru ni kan ada timbul isu pakaian anak-anak yang tak sepatutnya dibuat daripada jalur gemilang, because a flag has its own exclusivity; a symbol of sovereignty.
tapi kemudian ada satu clause yang menyatakan; tak digalakkan, tapi boleh dibuat pakaian pada satu hari (perayaan merdeka) itu saja. maka kiranya bolehlah dibuat pakaian.
tapi hanya dipakai pada hari sambutan.
ni untuk menjawab kekeliruan some peeps.
cuma ada clause pula yang cakap tak boleh dibuat songkok, alas meja semua tu.
masing-masing dah besar kan, just have a wise judgement okay :D

they may be little, but their semangat is wayy better than us, adults.

awhh these cute kids!!

made my own effort of preparing the kids with their merdeka outfits.
walaupun bukan berbaju kebangsaan (sebab tak sempat nak menempah wui).
just found merdeka tshirts with my bestie, azra on our merdeka-outfit-hunting. lolx
maka jadilah tema merdeka urban whatttt *pasang lagu 'kita punya malaysia' - bunkface* :P
i almost give up sewing em, sewing is soooo hard! ahaha.
but giving up is not my thing.
i kept on sewing and also got a help from a fairy-god mother whattt banyak sangat nonton kartun ni haha.
but i did get a help on anaqi's pants. so. thank youuuu kak ana ^^

macam nak pergi konsert merdeka pulak gayanya. lolx

tanggal 31 ogos, bawak AAs menyaksikan sambutan kemerdekaan.
disebabkan sambutan kali ni diadakan di putrajaya.. apa lagi. woots!
azam awalnya nak bangun dan keluar awal pagi.
but when you have little kids;
the 'awal pagi' term is usually 8a.m. instead of 7 :P
by 8a.m., the road is already flooded, congested, jeng krengg (whatever words can describe it. HAHA)
furthermore husband got a nature call at the pump station and last-last, kitorang menuju ke pusat bandar pada jam 8.30 macam tu kot.
no parking to be seen, everywhere you see was just vehicles and more vehicles on the road.

how did we manage to be there, anyways?

the perk of knowing putrajaya's route (or may be a secret route that not everyone knows. lolx)
kitorang berjaya sampai secepatnya, dapat parking kat kawasan parking yang luas tak banyak kereta.
jalan pun beberapa langkah je dari tepi jalan tu.
it was such a bliss.
knowing things around memang sangat-sangat membantu.

all the same shirts that day. itu flower crown ariana, bukan ai punya! dia yang tak nak pakai dah. ai la mangsanya. wuwuwu tetiba :D

walaupun tak berada di center stage, tetap dapat tengok segala bagai trak, lori, bas, motor perarakan lalu kat situ. eh, macam sedondon dengan trak bomba pulak! AHHAHA

steady pak cikk seriusnya muka wui :P

i'm not a selfie girl, TBH.
tapi ada contest kat ofis.
so ambik la mana-mana yang berkenaan and later kita pilih 1 gambar yang sesuai.
masuk pun just for fun dan untuk support contest kat ofis.

hahaa rider polis ni coolio, siap pose lagi dalam selfshot ni :D

the kids could see the tanks, ships, everything! how cool is that.

finally, gambar ni la yang dihantar untuk penyertaan. simple je kan. haha. simple is good :P

lepas habis sambutan,
kitorang pun gerak laju-laju ke food court presint 9. breakfast.
dapatlah sampai cepat sebab orang lain menapak parking jauh, lambat sikit sampainya :P

kebanyakan akan cakap, merdeka ni maksudnya memerdekakan minda, memerdekakan jiwa.
and it's totally right.
tak merdeka lagi kita kalau masih diselubungi negativity.
so stick with your positive vibes, guys.
